We are working with focus groups to understand how to engage patients' interest and promote effective learning. Using this research we are creating solutions which utilise new delivery methods and concepts from the world of gaming. This helps patients learn more about their medical conditions, recommended treatment options, compliance and life-style modification. One of these solutions is Healthy Bodi, a desktop widget application designed as a communication and community knowledge portal for children.
Our web based CME programmes provide a learner focused platform for healthcare professionals to develop knowledge and practice skills using problem based scenarios and role play. Users are presented with measurable learning objectives, patient case studies and are given an opportunity to practice the skills presented. The programme gives feedback on the quality of the user’s performance of those skills, and then allows the user to practice again. Our Learning Management System administers CME tests, generates CME certificates, and provides reports on overall programme impact.

In close partnership with the organisation, we developed a comprehensive online curriculum to support geographically distributed representatives. The Web-based curriculum included:\n\nA secure, password-protected Web portal. \nA series of interactive modules on the product, therapy area, and competitive forces. \nMultiple programs to facilitate understanding of clinical decision-making processes. \nInteractive role play to test understanding and practice objection handling and key selling skills. \nLearning Management System to track and report on representatives’ progress through the course.
